URL sitemap predictor
A simple demo of a ‘URL predictor’ that makes use of sitemap data.
Start typing something in the box below. Possible matches, obtained by inspecting the site’s sitemap, are returned. Select a match to visit that URL.
The following sitemaps are supported by this demo:
These sitemaps were found, by hand, and are stored on my delicious account under the ‘sitemap-xml’ tag. A cron job fetches these every 10 minutes, reads in all the reported URLs, and updates the data locally. This is then supplied to the autocomplete jquery plugin which handles the nice UI.
