BBC self-deprecation?

Something not about web-design for a change.
As I write, pandemonium is breaking out in West London, and commentators are tripping over themselves to decry the BBC / agree with BBC director general Mark Thompson’s stance in pretty much equal measure. The BBC, naturally, have their own take on affairs.
At the shown time and date, Auntie’s home page looked like this:
For those not in the know, chairman of the controversial broadcast in general, David Dimbleby, sometimes goes by the nickname ‘Bumblebee’ after an infamous exchange with Robin Cook.
It made me chuckle, anyway.
